Description
Basically, I went into the inks for this picture with some bold and flat colors. I was hoping to make it pop with some very vibrant colors, but also stay true to the characters.
From left to right, we have Wonder Woman in the new 52 costume, then Star-Girl, Hawk Woman, Raven, Zatana, Mary Marvel, and Power-Girl. Similar to the X-Mas piece I did in 2013, which featured some of the best Female Marvel characters, I wanted this to be the best Female Heroes of the DC Universe. However, I wanted to incorporate the younger and older generations of Heroes. Which is what the JSA & the JLA are doing to the best of their abilities.
When comic books first started, there were many male heroes, of course, but soon came very strong female characters to compliment their male counterparts. These are some of the most respected and hardcore characters in comic books today!
