Self-Portrait

This was an exercise that I had started last month, maybe. It was an exercise in building characters from Lab #4 of the book "Drawing Comics Lab" by Robyn Chapman. [link] One of the challenges was to draw a self-portrait, a 'low' self, and yourself at your most awesome, called your 'high' self. The other part of the challenge was to draw a bunch of word balloons and mix & match them with your drawings until you found something interesting. Some people love/hate to draw themselves. I am a little embarrassed because my arms are not (!) this big. But I do like do like cheese burgs. Also, the t.v. does really distract me. This is a drawing by myself, with magazine cutouts, notebook paper, and an old shirt for the background. Thank you for checking it out.
